Message From Our President
Hello from the Omicron Chapter of Alpha Omega Epsilon!
As the Engineering and Technical Sciences sorority for the University of Wisconsin - Madison campus, we have the unique opportunity to have the benefits of being a professional Greek group as well as those of being a social organization. We're happy that you took the time to look through our website, and we also hope that if you have any questions for us that you will contact us!
If someone would have told me when I first was a candidate of Alpha Omega Epsilon that I would someday be the chapter president, I would have never believed them. I was a shy, introverted geeky girl who was looking for somewhere to hang out outside of her dorm floor. With this in mind, I wouldn't have it any other way. I've seen myself grow so much with the help of my sisters and the organization as a whole. I've become more comfortable meeting new people and having new experiences, my time management skills have increased drastically, and I've watched myself become the leader I currently am today.
And I've seen growth in more members than just myself. Every sister in our chapter has experienced positive change, whether it has been through an increased sense of community involvement through philanthropic events, an augmented resume from leadership roles in the chapter or international organization, or from new connections across campus from social and Greek community events held throughout the semester. Every sister, as well as every potential new member, has something to gain from her membership in our organization.
We look forward to seeing our sisterhood grow each year, and we currently hold recruitment events during both the Spring and Fall semesters. Please feel free to check out our recruitment page on this website, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or to contact any of our sisters on social media for more information about how to join!
